Advanced notice that Norwich High School for Girls are planning to carry out a major pool refurbishment later this year. They will be closing their pool to all users from the 27th August to the beginning of January 2019. This means there will be no EAST Friday evening training sessions at the NHSG pool during this period.
Further details, including any possible alternatives, will be available nearer the time.
From Tuesday 21st November swimmers will no longer be able to park in the car park beside East gym as building work is taking place there. We will be able to use the south car park (the car park we used to use) until further notice.
A link to a map of the site is below. The two car parks are labelled as ‘student car park’ (East gym car park) and ‘staff car park’ (south car park) respectively.
Closing dates for both this year’s Regional and National Championships are coming up soon.
Regionals – Closing date is 11 September
Nationals – Closing date is 12.00 noon on Friday 6th October
