Norfolk masters results 2019

European Masters Championships 2018
Four intrepid EASTie explorers ventured out to Kranj in Slovenia to compete in the European Masters Championships.
Debbie Matless swam in the 50 Fly, 100 Fly and 100 Free, medalling in all of her events. Her 100 Fly was an epic encounter, missing out on gold by 0.09 seconds.
Natalie Allen swam in the 200 Free, 400 Free and 200 Back. Posting good times throughout and a notable blistering 1st 50 in her 200 Back and several encounters with the lane ropes (I mean come on, who would organise a back stroke event out doors!)
David Borthwick had 2 seasons bests in his 200 Free and 200 IM and an epic disaster in his 400 Free a full 9 seconds off his best.
Finally Dave Webster after the birth of Iris and a 12 week taper competed well and we were all entertained by his natural charm.
